Hi there, I need to set up some laptops to have pre-installed Forticlient. Is there a way to download forticlient full version (not online version), so I.

Sorry, not really an answer to your questions, but. From what I was told today, the ForitSSL stand alone VPN client has been discontinued as of 5.6. (there a pdf in the fortinet library about it, so I contacted support) to make up for this the Forticlient Configurator is now available for use without paying for forticlient licenses. (yay!)the caveat is that to get the new Forticlient Configurator you need an account on the Fortinet Developer Network site, which takes some hoop jumping.
Fortinet support told me to get in touch with my VAR to help with the hoops.Maybe somebody from Fortinet can jump into the discussion in the mean time. Hiya,if you are still looking into this I have stumbled across a method that will allow you to show just the remote access feature, hides all the tabs, and doesnt suffer from the glitch where if you inadvertently clicked on the compliance tab you couldnt get back to the remote access one.1. You need the forticlient 5.6 toolkit from the fortinet developer network (if you dont have a login for it let me know and i'll send you a link)2.
Use the toolkit with a config xml file you have prepared (config file is optional to be honest), select only the remote access option (compliance is removable in the toolkit i have from the FDN), and locate the folder containing the packaged msi + mst fileat this point before proceeding it is sensible to explain that if you install this now, it will bizarrely install the remote access and the sandbox component, but not the compliance or the rest of it (yes we didn't select the sandbox bit so i guess theres a bug). Stay with me.3. Create a batch file to install using:msiexec /i '%dp0FortiClient.msi' TRANSFORMS='%dp0FortiClient.mst' /quiet /qn /norestartreg add HKEYLOCALMACHINESOFTWAREWOW6432NodeFortinetFortiClientFASANDBOX /v installed /t REGDWORD /d 0 /f(that is the 64bit one, for 32bit use the same but take out the 'WOW6432Node' bit)4.

Run the batch as admin and it will install your custom one and will only show the drop down list, username, password box etc. That you see on the remote access. There are no hidden tabs up the left, it will just be a VPN.bit of a hack but its what i needed!.
